The SDC Côte-des-Neiges is present for its merchants! In these exceptional times, our merchants need you for their economic recovery. Show them your solidarity by participating in our “Je Choisis CDN” crowdfunding campaign to encourage Côte-des-Neiges businesses.
An initiative by the SDC Côte-des-Neiges, the “Je Choisis CDN” crowdfunding campaign allows you to encourage local shopping in Côte-des-Neiges. This solidarity-based crowdfunding campaign is made possible thanks to a financial contribution from the City of Montreal.

How does it work?
You purchase a $20 voucher for your favorite business via La Ruche‘s online platform and the City of Montreal graciously increases this amount. In total, you will receive a $30 voucher to spend at this business!
At the same time, you contribute to supporting your community since Desjardins will offer $20 for each voucher purchased to five local community organizations, up until $25,000!

2 : Select the businesses of your choice on La Ruche‘s website;
3 : Complete your transaction on La Ruche‘s website;
4 : You will receive a confirmation email for your purchase as well as your vouchers after the campaign has ended.

When can I redeem my voucher?
Please note that there may be a delay of 30 days following the end of the campaign before receiving the vouchers. Vouchers will be sent to you electronically and can be used as soon as they are received.
Can I use my voucher for multiple purchases?
Several payments will be authorized to spend your voucher. However, we strongly suggest that you use it at the store of your choice in less than three visits.
Can I gift my voucher?
Yes, you can offer your voucher as you wish to a person of your choice. It’s a great way to share your support for Côte-des-Neiges!
Do my vouchers have an expiry date?
There is no expiration date, but as this campaign is aimed at commercial revival, we invite you to spend it as soon as possible to support merchants.
How do I select the store of my choice?
Once you have made the payment and filled in your information, you will be able to select in a form your choice of shops for each voucher purchased.
Is my voucher redeemable for cash?
Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and the merchant cannot give you change on the voucher. Furthermore, if the value of your voucher is less than the price of the goods sold or the service provided, you will have to pay the difference by any other means of payment accepted in the trade.
What happens if I lose my voucher?
In case of loss or theft of your voucher, we will not be able to make a duplicate. Remember to keep it in a safe place.
What is the purchase limit per person?
A maximum of 50 vouchers per person is allowed. La Ruche and SDC Côte-des-Neiges reserve the right to cancel a transaction of more than 50 vouchers.
What is Desjardins’ contribution?
Desjardins will offer $20 per voucher to five community organizations, up until $25,000.
What is the total amount that will be raised in this campaign
The citizen objective is to raise $50,000. Thanks to the City of Montreal’s bonus of $25,000, a total of $75,000 will be given to merchants. Desjardins, for its part, will offer $20 to five community organizations in the neighbourhood, up to a maximum of $25,000. That gives us a grand total of $100,000 raised for Côte-des-Neiges!

- For community organizations to receive financial support to meet their needs.
