The Poutine Week in Côte-des-Neiges !

If you are a food lover, The Poutine Week is most likely a celebration you know. A real culinary festival, which sometimes even goes beyond the borders of Quebec!

For the occasion, several restaurateurs concoct their own interpretation of this emblematic Quebec dish. Traditionally composed of fries, cheese curds and gravy, the most original variations show that a poutine is not always limited to this trinity.

For the February 2023 edition, three Côte-des-Neiges restaurants took part in the celebration. Here are the three tasty poutines that you can discover and taste until February 14th in the neighborhood.

The Poutine 140 at B Burger

Newly arrived in the neighborhood, B Burger offers a poutine composed of homemade fries, cheese curds, fried chicken pieces dipped in their garlic and honey sauce, all covered with a brown sauce and a special chipotle sauce.

Canard de Brest at Pub McCarold

(5400 Ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges)

At Pub McCarold, a real neighborhood institution, we have on the menu a poutine with shredded duck on fries and cheese curds with a white beer, orange and spice sauce, topped with duck bacon, candied cherries and crisps of root vegetables.

The Poutine Monteiro at Monteiro Grillades Portugaises

Finally, for lovers of Portuguese grills, the Monteiro restaurant serves a poutine made up of fresh fries, a creamy vegan poutine sauce with Quebec cheese curds, charcoal-braised chicken and Piri Piri Monteiro sauce.
