Monteiro was created in 2013 in Montreal from a simple but ambitious idea: “Make the best Portuguese chicken in Montreal in a family friendly restaurant”!
As early as 2013, the first Monteiro restaurant opened its doors at the famous Jean-Talon market and the success was the rendezvous with customers unanimous about the taste and quality of our products!
Building on this success, our concept has become a fast-growing franchise and has become a strong presence in the Portuguese rotisserie market in Montreal with already 4 open restaurants and others in progress for 2018.
