Sentier-des-Neiges, a winter trail created by the SDC Côte-des-Neiges! A brand new visitor experience that will take place throughout the winter. From November to March, enjoy a warm neighborhood that will be illuminated, decorated, animated and that will vibrate to the rhythm of our local merchants to celebrate the joys of winter in Côte-des-Neiges.

Here’s how to take full advantage of the territory of the SDC Côte-des-Neiges this winter:

Illumination of the territory: nearly 75 light installations!

This year, a tour of nearly 75 light installations on Côte-des-Neiges between rue du Frère-André and rue Côte Sainte-Catherine awaits you! On the ground and above, admire the many sparkling decorations that honor the cold season. We bet that these illuminations will make young and old smile!

Giant trees (Novelty !)

To discover near the Halte Cote-des-Neiges in front of the National Bank on Lacombe at the corner of Côte-des-Neiges.

To discover in the heart of the Halte Côte-des-Neiges in front of Pharmaprix on Queen-Mary at the corner of Côte-des-Neiges.

Magic ribbons

On more than 25 streetlights on Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges between Queen-Mary and Côte Ste-Catherine.

Fairy spheres

40 decorative spheres light up the trees on Avenue Lacombe between Rue Gatineau and Ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges.

Enchanted trees

Many trees adorned with light garlands are visible at Placette Côte-des-Neiges and Halte Côte-des-Neiges / Queen-Mary.

Majestic Chandelier

The traditional majestic Chandelier is back on Ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges at the corner of Queen-Mary.

Enchanted passage

Discover this flamboyant installation offered by the CDN-NDG borough in front of the Maison de la culture CDN.

Winter shop windows

For the past few years, the SDC Côte-des-Neiges has been offering merchants who are members of its SDC a free program for decorating the windows of their businesses for the holidays. This year, 10 businesses are taking part in the brand new formula of the program which extends all winter long! Browse the territory in search of Winter Showcases at 10 merchants in the territory.

Giant video projection Le Village de Noël 2.0

In the evening, (re)discover the giant outdoor video projection Le Village de Noël 2.0 at the corner of avenue Lacombe and Côte-des-Neiges.

Hurry because the video projection will be broadcast exclusively until December 15th.

Haltes and lampposts decorated !

As you walk through the territory of the SDC Côte-des-Neiges, you will notice that several facilities are specially dressed for winter!

The Haltes of the SDC Côte-des-Neiges

Accessible in both summer and winter, the Halte Côte-des-Neiges located on Lacombe and the Halte Côte-des-Neiges located on Queen-Mary have pretty fir trees just like our winter theme Sentier-des-Neiges. The Haltes Côte-des-Neiges are perfect for taking a break and enjoying the winter landscape during your next visit to the neighborhood.

Winter wreaths

The flower boxes located on some thirty lampposts on Côte-des-Neiges, Lacombe and Gatineau streets have been replaced by magnificent crowns of fir trees to highlight winter.

Happiness for the eyes and for your moments of relaxation in the neighborhood.

Sound Experience ”Raconte-moi un conte d’hiver”

In November, the SDC Côte-des-Neiges, in collaboration with CISM 89.3 FM, launched the ”Raconte-moi un conte d’hiver” contest.

Discover the winning story of the contest writen by Ann Simard during a sound experience that will take place this winter in Côte-des-Neiges.
